Concrete driveways
A driveway carries cars every day for decades. We excavate and compact a crushed-rock base, set the reinforcement mesh on chairs, pour with the right falls to the street or a drain, and cut control joints so cracking stays in straight lines, not across your drive.
- Plain (broom or smooth) finish: the most economical, with good grip.
- Exposed aggregate: the stones in the mix are revealed for a decorative, non-slip finish. Our most requested driveway.
- Coloured concrete: oxide colours through the mix to match the house.
- Crossovers: the section over the nature strip needs a council permit. We arrange it.
Slabs, paths, steps and bases
Shed and water-tank slabs, alfresco slabs, side paths, garden steps and reinforced bases for pool surrounds and paving. Each is formed to level and finished to suit what goes on top.
Concrete driveway repairs & replacement
Cracked, sunken or lifted by roots? We assess whether a section can be cut out and replaced or whether the base has failed and the drive needs a full replacement, and we tell you honestly which one it is.

How soon can I drive on a new driveway?
Foot traffic after a day or two; cars usually after about a week, depending on the mix and the weather. We'll give you exact times for your job.
Exposed aggregate or plain concrete?
Exposed aggregate costs more but hides dirt and tyre marks and gives better grip. Plain concrete is the budget option and still looks sharp with a clean broom finish.
Will my concrete crack?
All concrete can crack. Good bases, reinforcement and control joints keep cracks small and in straight lines where they're meant to be.
Do you remove the old driveway?
Yes. Demolition and removal of old concrete is part of our job, done with our own machines.
